Alright, you caught me. This one’s from October 2nd, but I
time yesterday figured it would be cool to wait until tonight’s Chicago
Bears game to let you FEEL THE SYNCHONICITY. Thanks to the miracle of the
internet, I today have better access to more information about the football
game I “loved” than I did just days after its conclusion 18 years ago. Awesome
facts, like the fact that Andre Rison tore it up in a loss with three TDs and
177 yards of offense, and the game wasn’t on September 24th, it was on September 27th. That’s why I always say you can’t
trust a first grader any further than you can throw him.
The game was indeed lovable, an action-packed shootout in which the Bears (pictured above in black) triumphed over the Atlanta Falcons (also pictured in black, but without legs) by a 41-31 margin. Unlike the games I watched today, however, the game in question featured players who were as tall as a football field is wide, and a large demarcation of the 5 yard line.
